A 2-year statutory warranty—as stipulated by the Law of Georgia on Protection of Consumer Rights—applies to the products showcased in our showroom and on our website, unless stated otherwise. Below you’ll find an adapted version of the original document containing all the essential information you may need.
Key Provisions / What You Need to Know:
-
A manufacturing defect is defined as a flaw or damage to the product caused during its production by the manufacturer.
-
Warranty obligations do not apply to damages resulting from natural wear and tear, improper use, or mechanical damage.
-
Upon delivery, the customer must inspect the visual condition and functional mechanisms of the product in the presence of delivery personnel.
-
If any type of defect is found, the customer must contact the company and explain the issue in detail.
-
The price of products listed in the showroom and on the website includes delivery, transportation, and installation costs within Georgia.
Exception: If elevator or lifting equipment is not accessible for delivery, transportation up to the 3rd floor is included. From the 4th floor and above, an additional fee of 10 GEL per floor applies.
Warranty Terms:
-
The warranty period begins once the product is handed over to the customer.
-
Upon transfer, the risk of accidental damage passes to the customer.
-
If the product is shipped to the customer, the risk of accidental damage or malfunction during delivery also passes to the customer.
-
Each product must be used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
-
Products purchased from Komforter are non-returnable.
-
In the event of contract cancellation, the customer may owe up to 30% of the item's value as compensation.
Conditions for Fulfilling Warranty Obligations:
-
Customers must immediately report any defects to the company for resolution.
-
Komforter is responsible for warranty service only if the customer complies with the warranty terms and provides identification and the payment receipt.
-
Komforter's warranty covers repair, replacement, or exchange of the product and includes installation/dismantling.
-
Before determining whether damage is a manufacturing defect, the customer must pay a service fee of 100 GEL. If the issue is confirmed to be a factory defect, the fee will be refunded.
-
The time required to repair, replace, or refund a defective product during the warranty period will be evaluated individually.
-
If the damage is not deemed a manufacturing defect but repair is possible and the customer wishes to proceed, the customer will pay the repair service fee, which will be disclosed in advance.
-
If a product is replaced under warranty, the original warranty period remains unchanged.
-
Komforter does not cover any direct or indirect financial losses caused by product defects, even under warranty.
-
If the damaged product is irreparable, it will be replaced with a product from the same manufacturer or a similar item from another brand. If the new product is more expensive, the customer must pay the difference.
-
If a dispute regarding warranty terms cannot be resolved through negotiation, both parties will refer the matter to the Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau. The customer covers the cost of the expert review, which will be reimbursed by Komforter if the issue is confirmed as a manufacturing defect.

Komforter is not liable for warranty service in the following cases:
